A Real Story - From First Touches to 100 Juggles
Like many parents, it started simply.
One afternoon, a dad downloaded the 247 Football app, looking for a way to help his son improve between team sessions. As he scrolled through the different training sessions, he saw something powerful — simple, structured ideas his son could follow on his own.
That evening, he showed the app to his son.
At first, it was simply about trying something new. Together, they opened the sessions and explored the video demos, seeing how easily his son could follow the guided training. Then they discovered Juggles mode. After watching a short demonstration, his son stepped onto the front lawn and gave it a go.
He was 6 years old at the time.
They started with kick-bounce juggles — small, achievable steps. The dad would set the session running, then sit on the porch, watching closely and counting every touch. His son followed the audio prompts from the app, knowing exactly when to start and stop each round. There were moments of excitement… and moments of frustration. Some days, the ball just wouldn’t cooperate.
But they kept showing up.
The dad would always say the same thing:
“Today you’ll either beat your record… or you’ll be closer to beating it next time.”
And slowly, things began to change.
The numbers started to climb.
46 kick-bounce juggles.
5 continuous juggles.
Then 10.
Then 30.
Then 55.
Each session was often only 5-10 minutes, but it all added up. What started as effort turned into habit, and what started as habit turned into belief. At times, the sessions grew longer as his determination to beat his records kicked in — but even on busy days, he still made time for short sessions when that was all he had.
The app became part of their routine.
Some mornings, with just a couple of minutes before school, his son would grab the ball, open the app, and squeeze in a quick juggling session where he could - sometimes only 2 minutes.
“Just one more go,” he’d say.
“Let me get 10 then we’ll go.”
After each session, they’d check the 247 Leaderboard together. The dad would hold the phone while his son looked at where he ranked that week — motivated to climb higher, one touch at a time.
Then one day, it happened.
109 continuous juggles.
A number that once felt impossible.
But more importantly, it wasn’t just about the number. It was about everything that came with it — the patience, the persistence, the resilience to keep going after bad days, and the confidence built through small, consistent wins.
Two years on, that same 6-year-old is now 8 — not just a better player, but a more confident and self-driven one.
And it all started with a ball, a few minutes a day on the 247 Football app… and a parent who chose to be part of the journey.
The Takeaway
Progress in football doesn’t come from one big moment — it comes from small, consistent efforts over time.
With the right tools and a little encouragement, those small moments can turn into something special.
